Synopsis:
"Imaginary Friends, is a play with Tony Award-winners Swoosie Kurtz and Cherry Jones. "Lillian Hellman" and "Mary McCarthy" played by "Kurtz" and "Jones" are two literary figures who had sharp minds and even sharper tongues. The two women were long-standing rivals by the time McCarthy went on "The Dick Cavett Show" and said of Hellman, "Every word she writes is a lie, including 'and' and 'the'." The story was splattered across the front pages. The literary world divided into camps. The lawyers had a field day.
